Sr Full Stack Engineer

Senior Full Stack Engineer Experience 5 to 10 years Position Overview We’re seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to lead the architecture, development, and deployment of our cloud-based applications. You will own end-to-end product development, mentor junior engineers, and drive technical excellence across our engineering team.

Responsibilities

Architecture & Design: Design scalable, maintainable full-stack architecture for complex applications using modern tech stacks Technical Leadership: Establish coding standards, best practices, and technical direction for the team Full-Stack Development: Develop and maintain features across frontend (Next.js) and backend (Node.js/TypeScript) layers API Design & Integration: Design RESTful APIs using OpenAPI 3.0.3 specifications and oversee API documentation with Swagger UI Database Architecture: Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, implement Redis pub/sub patterns for real-time features DevOps & Infrastructure: Lead containerization efforts using Docker/Podman, manage Kubernetes deployments, and optimize CI/CD pipelines Code Quality & Testing: Champion comprehensive testing strategies (unit tests with Vitest, property-based testing with Hypothesis) Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of continuous learning Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product, design, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions

Qualifications

5-10 years of professional software engineering experience with significant full-stack exposure Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript Strong experience with React/Next.js (preferably version 14+) and Tailwind CSS Proven backend development experience with Node.js Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and caching layers (Redis) Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes environments Proficiency with Docker/Podman and container orchestration Experience with CI/CD tools and practices Strong understanding of RESTful API design and OpenAPI specifications Demonstrated ability to write and maintain comprehensive test suites Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading technical initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Helm for Kubernetes package management Familiarity with property-based testing frameworks (Hypothesis, QuickCheck) Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices Knowledge of DevOps best practices and microservices architecture Experience with performance optimization and monitoring
