About This Role
Platform Engineer Experience 3 to 5 years Role Overview We are seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team and support our Senior Systems Engineer in designing, developing, and deploying turn-key containerized solutions. You will work on complex automation projects, prototype development, and infrastructure solutions that bring enterprise-grade services to Kubernetes environments.
Responsibilities
Solution Development & Architecture Develop and deliver turn-key containerized solutions for critical services (memcached, Cassandra, RabbitMQ, etc.) Design and implement Kubernetes-native deployments with feature parity to leading cloud providers Validate system architectures for scalability, reliability, and operational excellence Prototype new solutions and automation frameworks for infrastructure services Infrastructure & Automation Create and maintain complex automation scripts and deployment pipelines Develop Kubernetes deployments using YAML configurations and Helm charts Build operational runbooks and standard operating procedures Implement comprehensive testing strategies for deployments and migrations Data & Configuration Management Design and execute data migration strategies from existing cloud deployments (public/private) Develop configuration management tooling and migration automation Document migration processes and best practices Documentation & Knowledge Transfer Write clear, comprehensive documentation for deployment procedures and solutions Create technical guides and operational documentation Mentor team members and assist in knowledge transfer initiatives

Qualifications
3-5 years of professional experience in systems engineering, cloud infrastructure, or related fields Demonstrated experience with complex automation and infrastructure development Proven track record with Kubernetes deployment and management Experience with containerization technologies and orchestration platforms
Technical Skills
Kubernetes expertise: Deployments, configuration management, operational patterns Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency with Helm, YAML, and templating tools Programming & Scripting: Strong shell scripting (Bash) and general programming capabilities Linux Administration: Deep understanding of Linux systems, kernel concepts, and system administration Testing: Experience designing and executing infrastructure and deployment testing Container Technologies: Docker, container registries, and container orchestration
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with distributed databases (Cassandra, MongoDB) or message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka) Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.) Cloud platform experience (AWS) Understanding of microservices architecture patterns Technical Environment Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration Linux-based systems and infrastructure Cloud-native technologies and patterns Enterprise-grade databases and messaging systems What We’re Looking For A technically strong engineer who is passionate about infrastructure automation and cloud-native technologies.
