Senior Engineer

Senior Engineer Experience 5 to 10 years Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to design, develop, and deploy turn-key solutions for critical infrastructure services in Kubernetes environments. You will own the engineering of cloud-native solutions for services such as Memcached, Cassandra DB, and RabbitMQ, with a focus on delivering production-ready, fully documented deployments.

Responsibilities

Solution Engineering Design and develop turnkey, production-ready solutions for distributed systems and messaging platforms Create containerized implementations of services with feature parity to major cloud provider offerings Develop comprehensive deployment strategies optimized for Kubernetes environments Architect solutions that meet enterprise-grade reliability and performance standards Kubernetes & DevOps Lead Kubernetes deployment strategies using YAML configurations and Helm charts Design and implement infrastructure-as-code solutions for service deployments Develop and maintain operational runbooks and deployment automation Ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience in containerized environments Conduct thorough testing of deployments across various environments Migration & Integration Engineer tools and processes to facilitate data and configuration migration from existing public and private cloud deployments Document migration strategies and create automated migration scripts Validate architecture compatibility and performance during migration scenarios Provide technical guidance to stakeholders during transition phases Technical Leadership Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on systems design and best practices Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical validation for solutions Lead technical discussions around infrastructure decisions and trade-offs Share knowledge and establish coding/deployment standards Documentation & Automation Create comprehensive technical documentation for deployments and operations Develop shell scripts and automation tools to streamline deployment and operational tasks Write clear, maintainable code in relevant programming languages Establish and maintain operational excellence through documentation

Qualifications

Experience: 5-10 years of experience in systems engineering, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps Kubernetes: Advanced expertise in Kubernetes deployments, YAML configuration, and Helm charts Linux: Strong understanding of Linux operating systems, administration, and troubleshooting Distributed Systems: Deep knowledge of distributed systems like Cassandra, Memcached, RabbitMQ, or similar platforms Automation: Proven ability to design and implement complex automation solutions and prototypes Programming: Strong shell scripting skills and programming proficiency in one or more general-purpose languages Documentation: Ability to create clear, comprehensive technical documentation and operational runbooks Desired

Qualifications
